- 1 cup Warm water
- 2 Tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp Sea salt
- 3-3 1/2 Whole wheat, spelt, or kamut flour
Pour water, oil, and salt into the Bosch mixing bowl, fitted with dough hook and dough hook extender. Add about 2 cups flour and mix on speed 2. Gradually add fresh flour until the dough forms a ball and cleans the sides of bottom of the bowl. Knead on speed 2 for 3-4 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover bowl with lid and let rest for 30 minutes. Divide dough into 8-12 pieces and form each into a ball. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into circles of desired size and thickness, or use a tortilla press to flatten them. Cook on lightly greased griddle or electric tortilla press until light golden brown on each side. Use for tacos, burritos, quesadillas, or as a wrap for sandwich or salad fillings, etc.
