The sorghum adds a nutty crunch to our gluten-free apple crisp. It makes for a delicious dessert or snack anytime you want something sweet and spiced.

4 Cups Apples *Peeled, Cored, and Sliced
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
Streusel Topping
1/2 Cup Butter *cut into cubes
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
3/4 Cup Sorghum Flour *Milled Medium
Steps
In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. In a medium bowl, toss apples with lemon juice. Add spice mixture and toss again. Spoon apple mixture into a greased 8"x8" baking pan.
Add butter, brown sugar, and flour to the bowl. Use pastry blender, two knives, or your fingers to combine ingredients until they resemble coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the topping evenly over apples.
Bake at 350ºF for approximately 1 hour or until golden brown and bubbly.
