Love This Thing!

"I feel like my family is embarking on a new chapter in getting healthier with this. We have allergies and possibly gluten issues, and am experimenting with fresh milled flour yeast breads, sourdough, and seeing how we all tolerate and then moving on to non wheat grains, if needed. Hoping to heal gut and skin issues for my children and grands. I already feel better eating the sourdough. All that to say, this mill works great, and is super quick and efficient!"

Great Grain Mill

"Great grain mill, easy to use and clean. The flower it makes is good, I have used it twice now and I like it. The bread it makes is good. Fast shipping and the starter pack of wheat berries is a good place to start."

Impact Grain Mill

"I’m very sorry that I cannot rate the mill as I have not yet even opened the box. I am very thrilled to have it, however. This is a brand new avenue for me and I still need to learn where to buy the whole grains. It makes me feel good just knowing the mill is in my house!!"

Better directions

"I wish there were better directions. I wish there were better understanding of what the numbers represent. I wasn't really sure what to know the berries on what number. I have hard white wheat berries and hard red berries. I just felt they could be better stated"

Love my Impact Mill!

"After doing much research, I decided to purchase the Nutrimill Impact, and I love it! I am a newbie, and this was perfect and well worth the reasonable price. I have made several loaves of bread, using hard, red and hard white wheat, and they came out perfect from the first loaf!"

Meet George NutriMill

"And his wife Martha Artiste. They are the new residents in my home. I created a space near the window in the kitchen so they can have a view. George's looks are deceiving. He's a strong little guy. He almost ran off the counter. I found out he doesn't like rice. He spit it out. We'll real whole grains tomorrow. I like George. I think we are going to be good friends as long as he behaves."

Little But Mighty

"Love this mill for its perfect size and ease for storage. It’s quick to grind up flour for my baking and I can grind as I need. My family enjoyed the hot dog buns I made with the fresh flour, for the first recipe I tried. So glad I purchased this mill."

Patricia E. (5/5)

The lid is too hard to open

"The design of the container lid is terrible. I should have gotten the classic instead since the Harvest is out of stock. My husband even struggles to open it. When you do finally get it open you get flour everywhere. I’m hoping to return and get a different one. If you have weak or arthritic hands this is not the mill to get."

I love my Impact Grain Mill.

"I work 6 days a week but still find time to grind my wheat and make my bread. It’s so easy. I was a beginner almost 9 months ago, but now my husband raves about my bread. I never baked bread before in my life. I stopped eating “healthy” wheat bread from the store. Thank you Nutrimill for making your products affordable. It was a great investment!"

Good product

"I’m new to milling my grains, but so far I’m really happy with my Impact grain mill. It’s really easy to use and clean."

Feed Rate

The feed rate knob controls both the milling speed and texture of the flour. The first notch powers on the mill, while each additional notch (up to seven) increases the feed rate. Lower feed rates yield finer flour, while higher feed rates provide coarser textures. Adjusting the feed rate helps you achieve the perfect texture, no matter the grain or legume type.

Feed Rate 1: Best for fine milling of small grains like quinoa.

Feed Rate 2: Suitable for coarser milling of small grains.

Feed Rates 2-3: Ideal for fine milling of medium-sized grains, such as wheat.

Feed Rates 4+: Recommended for coarser milling of medium-sized grains.

Feed Rates 3-4: Works well for fine milling of larger grains or legumes, like beans.

Feed Rates 5+: Provides coarser textures for larger grains and beans.

With these settings, you can adjust the texture to your preference based on grain type and size, all with a single, easy-to-use knob.
