The feed rate knob controls both the milling speed and texture of the flour. The first notch powers on the mill, while each additional notch (up to seven) increases the feed rate. Lower feed rates yield finer flour, while higher feed rates provide coarser textures. Adjusting the feed rate helps you achieve the perfect texture, no matter the grain or legume type.

Feed Rate 1: Best for fine milling of small grains like quinoa.

Feed Rate 2: Suitable for coarser milling of small grains.

Feed Rates 2-3: Ideal for fine milling of medium-sized grains, such as wheat.

Feed Rates 4+: Recommended for coarser milling of medium-sized grains.
