Our updated design (2017) of the flour bowl lid has short tabs and small slots for the tabs to fit into the bowl. The old-style lid is NOT compatible with the new style bowl. both bowl and lid will need to be replaced for the old style.

"I had to modify my lid slightly to make it fit the bowl, cut away some of the plastic, but it works with my modifications. I do think the new version is better, I was just confused for a minute when I got it."

"It doesn’t come with the rubber gasket already on it and it didn’t work well in my older 2010 version of the Nutrimill. It also leaked a lot of flour on the side. Disappointed below is the version I own. (I purchased both bowl and lid as Nutrimill suggested for older versions. )"
