Ingredients

  • 2/3 Cups Warm Milk

  • 4 Tbsp Brown Sugar

  • 3 tsp Instant Yeast

  • 1 Large Egg

  • 1 Cup Pumpkin Puree

  • 4 1/4 Cups Flour

  • 1 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1 tsp Ginger

  • 1/2 tsp All Spice

  • 1/2 tsp Coriander

  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg

  • 1/3 Cup Butter *Softened

  • Walnuts

    1. Combine the warm milk and two tablespoons of brown sugar in the mixing bowl. Stir to dissolve the sugar.

    2. Sprinkle the Yeast over the milk and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes or until it becomes frothy.

    1. Add the remaining brown sugar, the egg, and the pumpkin puree to the yeast mixture. Stir until well combined.

    1. Combine the flour, salt, and all the spices (cinnamon, ginger, allspice, coriander, and nutmeg).

    1. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

    2. Add the softened butter gradually and knead until fully incorporated.
