"I like this bowl, but not in love with it. They really need to try and improve the bowl to lock in place, like the bowl that comes with the Bosch Universal. And another suggestion is to make it an option of either bowl when ordering. I ordered two, since I have two Bosch mixers but only keeping one. It makes it a little easier getting doughs for bread and bagels out than the original bowl with the center column."

I Wish The Top Wasn't Sharp

"I mostly love the bowl, especially the lack of center post. It's easy to use, and does the job very well, but the top edge is sharp. Everyone in my house has commented about it. For the price, it seems like a rounded edge wouldn't be too much to ask for."

Works well enough

"I was looking forward to getting this bowl. I love my Nutrimill Artiste mixer, but want fond of the center post. This bowl takes that out of the equation. I wish there was a handle of some sort on the center lid. I added one, but it would have been nice to have one."

I was hopeful this would be perfect

"I love the idea of the bottom drive but after making 5 batches of dough (2 — 900g loaves) I have found that the higher hydration dough sticks to the bottom of the bowl in a thin layer. I do not have that issue with my white bowl with the pillar in the middle. I love my Bosch and was hoping this bottom drive bowl would work for me. I will try a lower hydration recipe but I like 78-80% so sad face."

Nice and Easy

"I purchased this for my new Bosch because I was having issues with fresh milled sourdough riding up the center post. This bowl has no center post, is stainless steel and easy to clean. I've used it twice and both times it did an excellent job of kneading the bread. I used the lowest setting for sourdough and the first two settings for yeast bread. The bowl holds more dough as there is no center post. It is pricey."

Compatibility with Artiste

"I really wanted to like this bowl for my Nutrimill Artiste, but ended up returning it because the cons outweigh the pros for me. Pros: material, easy to clean, not plastic, hook location Cons: locking mechanism, kneading capability and durability To further explain, this bowl does lock into place with the Artiste but since the connection is a bar instead of a cross, the lock does not constrain the bowl to be completely fixed as compared with the standard plastic bowl; hence the slight wobble. In addition, the center extrusion that sits at the bottom of the bowl has questionable life span. Since the top part of extrusion touches dough it requires hand washing, but since the bottom part of extrusion touches motor, it has a section with lubricant. Although the extrusion itself is maybe 2 inches long, in the attempts to hand wash it, we found it challenging to keep this lubricant from being washed away over time. Since we did not see a significant difference in kneading with the bottom hook (testing 2 fresh mill flour loafs), we opted to use the stainless steel dough hook."

Well……

"Here’s what I think. I’m disappointed in nutrimill for the third time. I’ve purchased the impact mill, I’ve purchased the artiste with all the accessories and the plastic bowl twice, because the first time it wasn’t working properly so they replaced it only to do the same thing that the first one was doing, screeching really loud and the middle shaft just falls off after the kneading process. And it is so hard to clean and dry that it had mold inside the middle shaft in those ridges that are hard to get at. I had to take it apart so I could somehow get rid of the mold. So now I purchased the stainless steel bowl with the bottom drive, the first thing when I received it, the packaging was horrible, it was clinking in the box when I opened it, the metal drive was not wrapped it was just thrown in there and scratched the lid and the sides of the bowl. Still makes a screeching noise, the inside drive/paddle or hook…. scrapes so hard against the bowl that it’s actually making a scuffed up ring around the bowl. So needless to say of all the troubles I’ve had, I’m being generous in rating it a three star. I’m going to save my money and buy something more reliable down the road. With all the money I already spent here I should have bought something different to begin with."
