"Just tried the bottom drive bowl for fresh milled flour sandwich bread. Worked perfectly and bread was fantastic!"
"Why did I wait a year to order? I love this bowl so much! It holds 2 additional loaves and doesn’t puff out so much flour when I start. It is SO much easier to clean. I just loooove it! I feel like it should be an option to order the mixer with just this bowl for micro bakers who use their mixer mostly for bread. It’s easier to hold to dump the dough, the sides are cleaner, and there is no annoying center column. 12/10. I’m in love."
"Wonderful! Holds a lot of dough and kneads well!"
"Perfect for my variety of breads I make every week. My fresh milled rye’s and sourdough’s alike, perfect!"
"Has a larger capacity than the original bowl besides mixing the bread dough smoother and being easier to clean"
"I love the steel bowl this new model doesn’t have a tight fitting lid tho’"
"Started baking 4 whole wheat sourdough breads some 3 years ago in my kitchen's gas oven in cast iron pans from Cuisiland. Had bought NutriMill's Artiste first to mix and develop the dough. That mixer is still my favorite, no problems with it. The center post holds easily because I use 80% hydration and the dough is softly spinning around. But after a year, I upgraded to the Bosch with the white bowl, mainly because of the blender I could use with it. However, with the Bosch and while using a lot of dough, some dough creeps into the center post and wraps around the stem inside. Do not like that, the Artiste's stem design is better. So, I thought trying the bottom drive stainless steel bowl. After one mix with a lot of dough, I found that the dough does not clear the bowl's wall very well when mixed for even 15 minutes. The white plastic bowls all clear. However, the metal bowl does not rock and sits tight. Also, the dough does not rise cause there is no center column. The bowl seems to be big enough to mix dough for five of my loaves. More pluses than minuses and I am pleased. But the bottom drive stainless steel bowl is expensive. Could have stayed with the Artiste and be a happy camper."
"I love my Bosch mixer but I really wish the middle didn’t have that bulky part that makes it hard to get things out. This was an awesome idea that helps when I have multiple projects and not all the patience. It also has made my sandwich loaves so much lighter and fluffier. Love it."
"I am loving the bottom drive bowl for larger batches of dough."
